Social Media Manager

As a freelance Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in crafting highly engaging and effective social media content for our B2B and B2C clientele. Your primary focus will be on LinkedIn, alongside other platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. This role requires a blend of speed, efficiency, and the ability to weave emotion-based storytelling, which is crucial for resonating with our audience.

Location

Remote.

To be eligible, you must be available to attend meetings virtually on Wednesdays from 5-6pm MST.

Compensation

Pay rate is $30-$50/hour depending on experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create compelling and engaging social media content tailored for B2B audiences, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn.

  • Provide rapid content creation support when freelancers are behind schedule, ensuring timely delivery.

  • Utilize emotion-based storytelling techniques to enhance the impact and relatability of content.

  • Act as a consultant and mentor to our freelance team, offering guidance, content reviews, and training on effective social media strategies.

  • Maintain active communication with the team via Slack and ensure quick turnaround times for projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in creating high-quality social media content, particularly for B2B audiences.

  • Expertise in LinkedIn content creation, with strong skills in Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

  • Ability to produce content efficiently under tight deadlines.

  • Familiarity with emotion-based storytelling and its application in both B2B and B2C content.

  • Experience in mentoring or training individuals or teams.

  • Excellent communication skills and responsiveness on Slack during work hours.

  • Portfolio showcasing previous work and success stories in social media content creation.

Ideal Candidates

  • This is a freelance position requiring 15-20 hours of commitment per month, with potential for increased hours as our organization grows.

  • Flexibility for quick project turnaround and daytime availability for team communication is essential.

  • The ideal candidate will NOT have a full-time job to ensure daytime availability.
